Family Law Attorney in Warren, Ohio
Trumbull · Mahoning · Ashtabula
Family cases are personal, and they affect the people you care about most. Call me with any family law question. I’ll talk through your situation and make sure you’re connected with the right help. My goal is a fair result, reached as calmly and efficiently as possible.
Cases I Handle
Dissolution. When both spouses agree on everything. Ohio requires a court hearing 30 to 90 days after filing.
Divorce. When spouses don’t agree. At least one spouse must have lived in Ohio for six months before filing.
Custody and parenting time. Allocating parental rights, shared parenting plans and changes to existing orders.
Child support. New orders and modifications when income or circumstances change.
Protection orders. Asking for a civil protection order, or defending against one.
Protection Orders Move Fast
If a temporary (ex parte) order was issued against you, a full hearing is usually set within about 7 to 10 court days. What happens at that hearing can affect where you live, your contact with your children and your right to own a firearm. If there’s a related criminal charge, what you say in one case can affect the other, so call before you respond.
